My Favorite Quilt from Sisters Quilt Show

This should be no surprise that this was a favorite from the Sisters Show!

On another note, I've been a bit MIA on the blogging. Our summer weather has been really incredible. Summer is too short so I must enjoy the outdoors while I can.

Elsa may not be able to hike much but she likes to camp!

A little hike to 9050' on Mount Bachelor in Central Oregon. The three Sisters are in the distance. Their names are Faith, Hope and Charity.

It was a little steep in some areas!

Another friend and I made a hike near Mt Hood.

My daughter and I have been trying to "meet in the middle" for a couple of mental health hikes!

We have kept the camper on the truck so all we have to do is pack up some food and go!
I also found out that my lifetime senior America the Beautiful pass gets me some 1/2 price campsites! It's great to have a few benefits as we age!!

I rec'd a beautiful antique quilt for the charity fundraiser. I'll share that on Wednesday.

Let's have a great week!

  2. I love that the great grand-daughter finished this heirloom. It's gorgeous. I love that she quilted dots (circles) in the baskets. It brings a modern twist to this antique quilt. So nice to see your daughter again. The hiking photos are wonderful. Thanks for sharing. ;^)
