Blessed Monday

I haven't been posting much but here is my recap. Scroll to the end if you are interested in quilts only. 

Thanksgiving get together with the entire fam. 

We went to a small and out of the way place that was perfect!

Christmas! Cory and I stayed downtown Portland and went to an Air Supply concert. 

Everybody together again! Yay!

Scandinavian Festival, 

My husband and his brother left for NC to help in the rebuilding process after Hurricane Helene. 

I was dropping Gary off at 12:30AM on Friday night. (Oh those early and late flights are crazy!)

 

I mentioned last week I would be going to court with my daughter for the teen that caused this accident and killed 2 young people who had married recently. We met the parents of the 2 deceased and listened to all of the victim impact statements. It was heartbreaking and very emotional. The girl got 5 years probation, 10 year license suspension and 8 days in county jail. (she is now over 18) 

We don't have a tree this year but have been trying to make the house a bit festive! 

The bird embroidery is what my daughter made for me. I finally got it framed. She said that helped her eye/hand coordination while recovering from her concussion and brain injury.
