ABC......

The Abc Sampler I started with Karen is DONE!

Because of the primitive style quilt I asked Kathy to do a quick all -over machine quilting.
It looks great to me!
This is one of the few quilt backings I have that aren't pieced. I think Kat gave me the backing material out of her stash when I was there this past spring.  It's perfect! Thanks Karen for encouraging me to sewalong and Kathy for your quilting skills!

Thank you all who are sewing along with Palmateer Point! I love seeing your fabric choices on my Facebook group. If you aren't a part of that group, I'd love for you to join us!

Have a lovely Wednesday!

  2. I found this project so inspiring that I ordered the pattern and it is waiting my full attention - looking forward to this winter to get started. Love that you and Karen did this together and hope I too can find a quilting buddy to share the journey. Your quilt is beautiful.

    2. I am looking for this pattern. It is from 2017 and Cheri doesn’t have a site. I would love to purchase it. I have many of her books and tons of her patterns but have been unable to find this one even with internet searches. Could you contact me if you still have the pattern. Thanks srrr@yahoo.com. Shauna

  11. Your quilt is stunning! I'm constantly amazed by the amount of sewing you get done-do you sew every day? Do you stick with a project until it's completed, or do you have some of those UFO's that the rest of us have?

    1. I try and sew a little something every day! I work on several projects at once. Very rarely do I ever stick with just one quilt from start to finish.

  14. OOOHLALA! The quilt looks good. I haven't made a backing or even considered quilting on mine. Too many irons in the fire. By the way, package on the way to you.
