Antique Quilt Exhibit

While we were at Sunriver we took a side trip to the High Desert Museum to see a display of 19th Century American Quilts. I'll be showing these quilts this week.

A couple of things that really struck me was the appliqued borders that just ended wherever the quilt ended and the large floral fabric borders.

    omg, my jaw dropped when I started looking at these quilts
    what treasures!
