2010 Starts With a Bang!

I really wanted to be able to show you something I'm working on but I've been getting caught up on things I've put aside during the holidays. I've been to the dentist, made my yearly mammo appt, called the accountant, closed out the business year, washed sheets now that son has gone back to college, cleaned his bathroom......OK- you get the picture... I hope to have something of my own to show you later this week along with the next step of Cheddar Cheese and Crackers.

For now I'll leave you with a couple of charming vintage doll quilts.

  1. So you've been taking care of yourself, the finances and the home. A good picture to "get." A nice reminder as a matter of fact. Especially about the mammo. If that were the only "take-away" from this post I think I'd be the fortunate one (singing to the tune of CCR - Fortunate Son).

I find the yellow doll quilt delectable so that means I have 3 major take-aways. The Americana one is beautiful and interesting. The center intrigues me. How did they piece that I think to myself...

Fun to be here, Lori. Just sat down and you popped up at the same time. That's charming, too!

  12. Love the little quilts, especially the yellow one! When looking at the older quilts I wonder what the women were like that made them and how they lived etc. Sue-Anne
