Lotsa Lovelies

Here's the start of a wool pincushion by Hatched and Patched. I've loved their designs and found a little kit at the quilt show last week.

Do you recognize a partridge in a pear tree? I'm prepping this to take with me on my trip. I'm not sure how much I'll actually get done but I'll have it just in case. The pattern is by Cheri called
Twelve Days of Christmas.
I've been wanting to get this book since it came out and found this at the quilt show last week too.
Here are two more blocks of Beyond the Cherry Tree. I still love the quirkiness!


Judy Hansen sent me a photo of her lovely Midnight Stars quilt. I love seeing the results of the quiltalongs!!

    I love little blocks with fat chicks in them - really nice pincushion! I keep meaning to make a few and then sew something else instead. One of these days!

    I love your Cherry Trees blocks. I left off two of the leaves over the vase because I didn't have a green that showed enough to bother. I like the way yours looks.

    What trip? Did I miss something?

    Lots of goodies today. The little chicken pincushion is right up my alley since I am fond of chicken items of all sorts.

    You are speeding right along on those Cherry Tree blocks. My patterns are still sitting in the sewing room staring at me.

    I saw the Midnight Stars quilt just yesterday, I think. So many people have made the little quilt. Do you have any idea how many?

    The littel pincushion is going to be just adorable. I love working with wool but for some reason I don't really have a project going right now in wool.
    The Cherry Tree blocks are beautiful as always. I love that quilt. Must resist the urge to start more UFOs. LOL

    The wool applique chicken is darling! I can't wait to see how different your other block looks with stitching.

    Your BTCT blocks are fabulous!

    I Love your Beyond the Cherry Tree blocks. Also love your Amish Sunflower and your comment about quilting stitches being like fingerprints and how 'our' quilting stitches add character to a quilt. from Jenny McH
