 Here's a sneak peak of a small part of my Jubilee project. I didn't want to show my start just in case I couldn't pull it off. Looks like it is going to work and I'm thrilled!!  Be looking for more next week.
 My drunkards path blocks from Martha have been my evening hand work. I was sewing the sections together in between the paper piecing in the previous photo.
 
These are sewn together in fours... Yep, one is messed up and I thought quite a few times, I'd take out the stitches and change it, but I like it. Isn't is funny how it is the brightest and most obvious color that I messed up on?!

I have weekend plans that start on Friday morning, so I will talk to you all next week!!

    I particularly love your drunkard's path! Those fabrics are adorable! I like the idea of an odd one out - you could always keep it?

    I thought you were going to use solids for your Jubilee quilt. Is that the poison green you were waiting on to arrive in the mail? Just a teaser but it is looking very good with those curves and points.

    The Jubilee quilt looks quite challenging! And the colors are awesome!! Beautiful work, as always. The little drunkard's path blocks are adorable!! I am especially partial to the "different" one!! My style!

    Your quilt projects are just great! Shouldn't have pointed the mistake out, I wouldn't have even noticed. I was too busy looking at all the great fabric you used. Have a fun weekend, but I thought this was only Wednesday....

    The start for your jubilee quilt is pretty impressive, Lori. Don't know that it will fit the "humble quilt" category! Looks more like a "Wow" quilt!

    Can'lt wait to see the blocks for this red and green. Looks difficult to sew, but what a statement!
    Your mistake may be the brightest block, but it took me a few seconds to find it! I'd keep it, too.

    your tiny humble drunkard's path block wasn't obvious to me at first glance. i think it's good to have these blocks included in doll quilts. you see it in antique and vintage pieces and it's just more 'authentic' somehow if you leave them in.

    The beginning of your Jubilee Quilt is striking. I'm not surprised you chose red and green. That sounds like Lori of Humble Quilts.
    Those little drunkard's path blocks are looking good, even that one in the top row. That's your humility block, right?

    Your Jubilee project is so beautiful. I am completely intimated by paper piecing -- Seriously, is there anything you can't do?

    It's so fun to see the little quilt taking shape, and it's looking really cute. It's such a busy little quilt that the "mistake" is not really that obvious, but if you do see it, it's pretty charming. I would definitely leave it in.

    Your Drunkard's Path blocks are just adorable! Love the perky 30's colors! Can't tell you how much I look forward to each evening's Handwork...most relaxing part of the day! Well, morning coffee with newspaper is good too!
