Closing out 50

I finished hand sewing the binding down on my 50th birthday signature quilt. It was wonderful to see the block all up close and personal again. What a treasure for me! Thank you all who participated and Randy who did the collecting and surprised me with the blocks almost one year ago.
I told Kathy, my friend and quilter, to do an all over pattern which I think fit it perfectly.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! From the bottom of my heart.

How large is the quilt? How many squares? I can see the one I sent, it is the blue striped 8 pointed star :0).

  13. How gorgeous!!!! Such a nice momento of your 50th year!!! I've almost forgotten which block I made, but having examined the photos I think I found one that looks very familiar LOL!!!!! The layout is nice and simple and allows the blocks to shine in their own special way!!!! I hope you enjoy it for many years to come!!!!!
