Summer Kick Off

This photo makes me a bit dizzy! Flag Day is always a good time to get out my patriotic and red, white and blue quilts for summer. The banister makes a good holding place until I can get them changed up around the house.

More.....more...more. I admit I make/have  a lot of patriotic quilts and other decor.
All ready for company! We'll keep the light on for ya'!!

  6. Wow, what a lovely display of quilts! I so wish QNM still did their "At Home With Quilts" feature, your display would have been perfect for it.

Question the top most sampler quilt on the bed in the last picture: is there a pattern for that one or is it one of your originals or an antique?

  34. You have reached the master level with all your beautiful quilts!! I love seeing them organized and piled here and there. It kind of makes you want to dive right into bed and pull them up to your chin. Did you make the red and white chain quilt? If so, machine or hand quilting? I love the look of a two color quilt but boy does it get boring to make. I should just read back because I think I remember that quilt getting made and probably made a similar comment at the time.
