Some of the quilters from Gee's Bend, Alabama were at the quilt show this year. This was their third visit during quilt show week and they are wonderful and joyous women. Postal Shirt Quilt
I don't see anything wrong with this. I have a few that look pretty similar.
I ran into them several times on quilt show day and spoke with them. but did NOT take a photo. (I sure thought I did) This one is borrowed from Sisters Outdoor Quiltshow facebook page.
It is a fun experience to say you've seen their quilts and met these ladies.

Love them! Nothing wrong at all. Especially love the 4th and 5th ones!
ReplyDeleteI was in a workshop with these ladies at QuiltCon. I had them sign the piece I was working on which was made out of old clothes. They dug my piece.

ReplyDeleteI saw the quilts in Cleveland and Tacoma and went to a talk in Tacoma with the quilters. A wonderful experience to be sure.
