I had a busy weekend which included the NW Quilting Expo in Portland. My half marathon was very nearby so it was all pretty convenient.
This cow looking through the window was one of my favorites. My mom and stepdad had a ranch with cows and many of them had to be bottle fed, I understand the looking in the house!! Lol
The quilt maker is Rosemary Burris from Portland.
Loved this pieced armadillo.
My son recognized grumpy cat right away. I have no idea what that's about, but it was pretty silly,
More great photos to come this week!
yay for Janet.
ReplyDeleteFun animal quilts
The armadillo is pretty realistic looking. We used to see a mama and her babies living nxt door to us. I like the way the quilt maker created the creature.
ReplyDeleteThe armadillo quilt is great - I'm going to send one of my quilting buddies in Texas the link as the armadillo is the state animal. I love the cow quilt a lot too!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Janet !
ReplyDeleteThese quilts are stunning ! Wow !!
The quilt with the cow is so beautiful, it makes a feeling of peace.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the book's winner!
Three amazing, yet incredibly different, animal quilts. The first one is so real. The piecing on the second one is mind boggling, and the third one? Grumpy cat--is it some YouTube thing?
ReplyDeleteI am excited to have won your book giveaway. Thanks, Lori!
These are such fun quilts!! Love this!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your last half marathon for the year! Thanks for sharing these delightful quilts.
ReplyDeleteThose quilts would probably be my favs, too.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for a bottle calf to be staring in one of my windows! LOL
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the fall mystery!
Congrats, Janet O! She's lucky today. Glad you could attend the EXPO. I went last year. It's too close to Trends and I can't do back to back long trips like I used to do. Getting old isn't for Sissy's.
ReplyDeleteI think that would be my favorite quilt too!! Thanks for sharing your fav's, such talent is so fun to see! Congrats to the winner, so nice of the author to share! I'm watching the Library for the book.
ReplyDeleteWhat great quilts from the show!! Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteAll the quilts are great but the cow in the window is amazing. There's so much detail it almost looks more like a painting than fabric! Thanks for sharing.
