Quilters Madder Finale

Using the pieces with the same background assemble your block like the photo. This traditional block is called Old Maids Puzzle.
Obviously I wasn't too worried about sharp points! LOL I love this madder fabric!
And this fabric! Make 6 of these blocks.

I laid my blocks out on my design wall and still messed them up! The bottom right 1/2 block got mixed up with the block above it. My pinks are closer together than I would like as well, but it's too late now!
Because mine is quilted and DONE!
I hope you are happy with your Humble Quilts mystery! It is a little bigger than the others I've done, but it just worked and I wasn't up to making up weird sizes.

Here is the inspiration for "Quilters Madder"

Thanks for sewing along! I'll add a linky in about a week or so, so we can see them all!
You can quilt yours any way you'd like. I machine quilted horizontal and vertical in the ditch on each row.
I hand quilted an X in the 3 1/2" squares, handquilted in the ditch next to the large madder triangle and stitched a line diagonally through the 2" patches.

  2. Turned out so cute! I think it's wonderful how that bottom 1/2 block is turned wrong and you didn't care! It's not an obvious whoops! and besides, it sizes up the look of this quilt perfectly! Great job1

  17. I love your quilt! I am putting mine together today! I keep studying your quilt. I keep finding all kinds of wonderful surprises. I had to look hard to find your "mistake"! Still not sure how to turn the bow tie. The bow ties on the left side of the quilt are opposite directions. I just think that no matter how I sew it together- it really won't matter! Thanks, It's been fun! :)
