My partner should be receiving her quilt soon. She doesn't know that it is me sending to her so I can share it here. I started this when I was in Sunriver, but pieced it differently than the book recommended. The blocks finish at 3". I machine quilted and hand quilted it.
I'm making another one and this person knows we are swapping, but she doesn't know which of these are winging their way to Spain. I love this little quilt, created after seeing an antique.
I'm calling it Child's Play.
Here is Mona's "Quilters Madder" completed! I love it!
This was my latest fall quiltalong which you can find HERE,
And my instagram feed for this week.
Have a lovely weekend friends!
Thank you for all your encouraging words and kind comments.
Oh no doubt your swap partner will be delighted to receive it ! Your quilt is gorgeous !
ReplyDeleteI am quilting mine by hand and will send it at mid April to Connecticut !
Thank you again for this swap !
I am amazed at how many different reproduction prints there have been on the market the last several years. I like to study the different fabrics used in the little doll quilts and see what is in my stash and what I have missed. You got your doll quilts done quickly.
ReplyDeleteThe quilts turned out great! I have my doll quilt pieced, but need to quilt it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little quilts. Spring here has been rainy and cold. Doing a lot of sewing. Will have ten quilt for Haiti team to take in April. Working to finish dresses to make ten of those. Having to rest a lot since the time change. Wish they'd stop that.
ReplyDeleteLovely little quilts and great fabrics!! Someone is going to love them! Mine is pieced and ready to layer and quilt.
ReplyDeleteYou do the vintage look so well, Lori. Whoever receives one of these should be thrilled!
ReplyDeleteI like these quilts very much. Thanks for showing them.
ReplyDeleteI've finished making my swap quilt but thought I'd wait a week or so to send it.
ReplyDeleteI didn't want to be too early, but if you are sending yours I'll get mine in the post.
These are adorable! You made fast work of this. Mine is nearly done. Hopefully, I will finish piecing this weekend and get the quilting done next week!
ReplyDeleteAll are so pretty. This swap is always fun. I have received mine and thanked her, but waiting to post until I mail my partner's.
ReplyDeleteOutside of the label my quilt is ready to go.
