I still have no date for a future mission trip but am always looking for opportunities. I'll be having another fundraiser book sale soon! Probably the first week of August.
I've had family visiting this week and have enjoyed it so much! No sewing though.:(
Sage was happy to climb the trees!! He played with Elsa till she was pooped too!
My nephew and his daughter (son in the tree) were making rounds to see family. It has been close to 10 years since we've visited.
Porter enjoyed their visit too. Paige enjoyed both dogs.
I see my brother, who lives in China, once or twice a year. It was nice.
Looks like you all had a nice family time. I love your new blog theme. The Sew Emoji book, I'd like to have.
ReplyDeleteSummer is special because we do take the time to catch up with family. Wondering if there is a family emoji in that book..... count me in please lonestarpbx at aol.com
ReplyDeleteI know you enjoyed having your family visit for a while. That is more important that quilting. I would also like to have the Sew Emoji book. It looks like a fun book.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to see you with your brother! I’m going through books again so I will let you know if I find any crafting books for your sale. Don’t put me in the book draw - defeats the purging if I start adding 😉
ReplyDeleteLovely giveaway, especially the button landyard. So glad you got to enjoy your wonderful family, that is a real blessing.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good visit. Hello to Jim
ReplyDeleteSummer family time is the best. Cute kid in the tree. Nice to giveaway a book you're not using. Thanks for sharing. Just in case pmcrowther@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteNothing like family visits even if takes 10 years! Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteIt is always fun to be with family especially if you have not seen them it quite a while. Looks like a fun book with all the Emoji's. Love Emojis but don't use them as much as what I should when texting. Would be fun to make a quilt with them. Thanks for offering this.
ReplyDeleteNothing better than family time together
ReplyDeleteI love family times like that. Takes an effort, but worth it!
ReplyDeletenice - family first I say~
ReplyDeleteWhat a great give away!!! I bet the dogs enjoyed the family time just as much as you did!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the week, happy quilting!
Family time is the best. Great shot of you and your brother. Do you have other siblings? I can't recall if you have mentioned others.
ReplyDeleteHeading to an extended family campout soon where there could be about 60 of my parents' posterity in attendance.
Family is what life is all about! My family grew from my husband and I, to our 3 daughters, then 3 sons-in-laws and now 9 grandchildren! Now 17 of us! And my heart is full! Thank you for the opportunity to join your giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI would love the book, I see making quilts for my grandsons. I lost my brother 2 years ago so treasure every moment you have. Life is short.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun looking book. Glad you get to see your brother. I only see mine when I visit my mother (she makes him come over to see me). I've been trying to get him to visit us for the past 17 years, but he won't come, even when he flies into the area for a business meeting.
