Here we are on month 6 of our stringalong!
Just got these sewn this past weekend! Just under the wire!
Because June was a busy month I fell behind on these little ones. I have these 5 and 1 under the needle. That means I'll need to make about 50 this month! Yikes!! If I shoot for 2 a day I can get caught up!!
Looking forward to seeing how you are coming along!
Today was my mom's birthday. A weird turn of the calendar since she died a day after we celebrated her 81st birthday 3 years ago.
I have no strings from June but maybe at the nd of this month. Love that silly picture of you and your mom.
ReplyDeleteBitter sweet memory, I am sure Lori. Love the pic though :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty--love that "root Beer" color on the border...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteYour String quilt is growing nicely. What a fun photo of you and your mom!
ReplyDeleteSweet photo of you and your mom. Keep stringing
ReplyDeleteThe photo of you and your Mom is just so all about fun! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI really like the rail fence look. Made a couple of those several years ago and it takes forever but is so worthwhile.:)
ReplyDeleteHi Lori! We really enjoyed your presentation at the Mt Bachelor Quilters' Guild meeting last month. I have completed the blog post about your time here. Feel free to link to it if you like.

Your string projects are so appealing.
ReplyDeleteI recall when you originally shared that photo of you and your Mom with your cones. I think it is so fun.
Well I'm sorry to say nothing was accomplished on my string spiderweb blocks last month. Hopefully July will be a bit less hectic and I can get a couple months' worth completed. So fun to see everyone's progress.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you had a good day the day before your mother passed away! Lovely memory! Love string blocks!!!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is coming along beautifully. Are you using foundation papers or just sewing without the paper?
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting the Stringalong, Lori. I appreciate how it helps motivate me.
