Mt Hood Guild Quilt Show
There are so many quilt shows going on in the Pacific Northwest. I'm hoping to make it to at least 2 more! This weekend I had to travel to the suburbs and my friend Michelle reminded me of this quilt show! yay! I'm so glad I went. It's always fun to be inspired and see what's going on in the quilt world around me. Here's a few from the show.

My friend daughter pieced this terrific quilt! She is 9!! Yay for the next generation of quilters!! Good job Brianna and momma Rachel!!

ReplyDeleteLooks like lots of summery themed quilts in that show. The Hawaiian shirt quilt is a hoot! My hubby only has two--couldn't make much of a quilt from those. :)

Wow, I adore that first quilt! The fabrics are perfect, especially that border. So wonderful to see such patience and persistence in a nine-year-old. Kudos to her and her mom!
ReplyDeleteThe first quilt picture, I was going to say what pretty fabric as it caught my eye right away. Then I read that you also thought the same thing. I like that it is pretty and also darker in color.

ReplyDeleteLove the Garden quilt especially. It's always so interesting to see what's showing at different quilt shows! Congrats to your friends daughter! That's a complex quilt for someone her age. Definitely something to be very proud of.:)
