Jean P shared with me her Sweet Land of Liberty quilt from our quiltalong.
She's still sewing away and I hope you are too!
Isn't it just as cute as can be??!
I was recently in a primitive heart bowl filler swap and here were my goodies from Susan. They will be enjoyed and treasured!
I did a couple of polka dotty X's and O's.
I joined in Barb's star swap- modern and repro! Here's the goods!! Thank you Barb and all the swappers!
I have access to one book if someone would like to email me I'll hook you up with a seller.
The quiltalong we are doing this year is from this book and is the pattern below. There are many projects in this book, not just that one pattern.
Update from Jan : Speaking of Anniversary quilts
this is the quilt I made for our 25th
anniversary. It was published in a book
called Together Again by Linda
Brannock and I which is now out
of print.
Since Humble Quilts is doing a QAL
with the quilt, I've turned it
into a pattern. It's a huge pattern and quite
a few of the border figures are large
enough that I had to have them specially
copied and printed. We've started the process
and you can buy one now by clicking here.
They probably will ship at the end of the week.
If you only want the pattern, Jan has made it available! Yay! Thank you Jan!
Have a terrific weekend!!
I see a star that I made for Barb Vedder's swap! Upper left corner of photo.
ReplyDeleteLove that print in the center of your star!! Thank you!
DeleteWhat a fun filled post! Those dotty X’s and O’s Are very fun.
ReplyDeleteI see one of my Barb Vedder swap blocks, too! It's the one with the yellow geometric center.
ReplyDeleteCool! Thank you!!
DeleteOh that Sweet Land of Liberty looks so lovely--still one of my very favorite quilts;))==Nice work Jean P;)))--I still would like to make that one...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteA bowl filler swap sounds like a fun idea. You received a wonderful variety.
ReplyDeleteThat is so great that Jan made the pattern available!
You inspired so many people with the Cheri sew-along.
ReplyDeleteI am still working on it! I thought I'd start the pineapple row this month, but then my older son fell at the end of January and really broke his leg something awful - surgical intervention, metallic pieces, etc. So I'm getting almost no sewing done. However, the top row that's finished is hanging on a quilt ladder in my hallway, right by my bedroom door, and I can't forget about it. Jean's blocks look great!
