Here is my completed Buhl Bushong quilt top! I pieced a backing while at my sewing retreat last weekend and it is now on its way to Sharon, Grass Roots Quilting, for her to work some magic.
The overall size is about 87" square. The Virginia Quilt Museum reproduced this quilt from one in their collection. They really did an awesome and accurate job. The original antique is from 1855. Get more info HERE.
JoAnn from Quilters Coop sent me some photos of fabrics after I showed her the quilt top and told her I was looking for backing. Thank you Joann! This is the one I used for backing. Turns out it is a lovely French General. Unfortunately JoAnn is closing her shop so I won't send you a link.
So, so lovely! I've enjoyed seeing the progress on this project.
