I'm slowly making my way to the Cousin's Walk bird Sampler. 
I have 2 more blocks prepped and ready to applique. 

This bird looks a wee bit chubby. lol

We went out to shoot my new gun last night and the sky was lit! It was amazing! Let's have a great week!

    Your blocks are making great progress. Won't be long until they're all finished! Love the birds, I'm so partial to them. Hope you had a good time with your new purchase. My husband is curious as to what you bought and how did you like it? Gorgeous sky!!!

    Good Morning, Lori, I'm just catching up with you. Your chubby bird reminds me of the Robins we have here. They all looked that chubby a couple of weeks ago when our whether never broke freezing! They fluff their feathers to hold a warm air blanket next to their bodies. It actually increases their body size by a half and makes them look quite portly.
    HA! I think they must have thought they took a wrong turn, because this couldn't be N. Alabama with 6 inches of snow on the ground! ;)
