On Monday I presented my Reruns: Quilts Inspired by the Past lecture/slideshow to Common Threads Quilt Guild in Colorado.
I love that we have many options now! The pandemic has forced us to be creative. They have a small group and I could see them all there! They had me on Zoom on a big screen. This is the first time I've presented in this way. Such a good idea for small groups that do not have the finances to fly speakers in to the area.
In person will always be the preferred way, but creativity is the name of the game now! I'd love it if your group would consider me for a trunk show or workshop. Thank you!
I keep thinking I'm going to make a similar quilt. So gorgeous!:)
ReplyDeleteYou are a media star! How about a new You Tube post for us at home.
ReplyDeleteI love your Pomegranate quilt, it is so authentic. I think that was a very popular quilt design second half of 19th century. I have seen others.
Yes to more you tube! Living remotely there are so few quilters that I know, and no guild within easy driving distance.
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous quilts ~ yes, zoom & online teaching/meetings have certainly changed our world. Amazing how we can re-think & learn to make events happen!
