Stitchin' Post

It has been so long since I've been to a quilt store. While we were all fairly close while we were retreating we thought we better make a trip! it was nice!

Since I am going trekking in Peru later this year I am starting to do some hard elevation hikes.

Elsa and I did this on Saturday.

You can barely see Elsa a little ahead of me on the snow.

You know you made it to the summit when you find the surveyor's marker.

It actually was nice to be in the sun on the top.

Elsa was pooped! And so was I!

  2. I haven't been to a quilt shop in a long time either. There is a quilt in the fourth photo down on the very right, would that be a Jen Kingwell pattern from her latest book? I really love the colors and design.

  4. I think I've been to the Stitching Post 3 or 4 times and I don't think I ever knew there was an upstairs! LOL Nice to see what I've been missing. :)
Wow, what a view. Kudos to you for getting yourself acclimated to some elevation hikes.
