Laurie and I had another challenge using corn fabric after our Midwest trip. There was no date to get it done but I knew once I saw hers I better get busy!
Corn and Beans! Made by Laurie for me!
She knows that green print is my favorite and really, it makes terrific beans too!
I wanted to make a corn and beans too......
I ended up with ONE block! The pattern I found really stunk and it was hard to get together!
So I opted to border one 7" block and call it good. She got the short end of the stick on this challenge! haha
This was the challenge fabric.
So fun to challenge each other :0) great looking little quilts. Safe travels!
ReplyDeleteYour fabric choice is so f un and I love both versions. I esp love your colorway. Corn and Beans is one of my most favorite blocks, tho mine seems slightly different.
ReplyDeleteBoth little quilts met the challenge for sure! I would probably still be staring at that corn fabric. LOL You both finished well. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute idea!
ReplyDeleteYou two have a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing the quilts—they’re great! It inspires me to include a corn and beans block in my current sampler. -Roxanne
