Wednesday Check in!

Here is one of two projects I'm working on for a workshop sample. The next one will not have as many spikes and will be a more modern version. The lovely focal print is an old one by Michelle Yeo. I will decide today if I bind it in red or yellow. I don't think I have a lot of either one.  The back is a Michelle Yeo print too.

My husband is volunteering with Samaritan's Purse this week in North Carolina. It's almost been 3 months since Hurricane Helene and people are hurting and still needing help. The news has moved on to the next tragedy. If you can give your time or finances I highly recommend Samaritan's Purse non profit.

While hubby is away.....

I bought a tree and got it decorated. (definitely not perfect!)

It has been quite a year! The good, the bad and the ugly! But I'm grateful for every day.

The little red and white quilt above is called Swiss Cross. You can find it in my Etsy store- Digital download HERE or paper pattern HERE.

I hope you are having a great week!

  1. Humble tree for Humble Quilts. I love it. I'm sure the good people of NC are so appreciative. I keep seeing on blogs how the devastation remains although the repairs are being made, slowly but surely. Blessings to you & hubby

  4. So happy for the people of NC rebuilding their lives with his help! You have such lovely quilt displays. Now get lots done, like wrapping whatever you're giving him, before he gets back!
