Fun On A Friday

Here's a brief recap of my week!

Look at this precious gift my daughter brought home for me from Japan! The little "kit" measures 2 1/4"x1 1/4"! it is tiny! She loved  Japan!!

I'm going to get this on my pack today!

I made a trip into Portland to help Rene with some paperwork and this was my early morning view of Mt Hood!

Out on a walk and I see that this guy made it through another hunting season! What a rack!

We've had amazing sunrises and sunsets this week!!

And I'm continuing to prepare for Guatemala!

But first I'm heading to quilt retreat today!!

Have a fantastic weekend my friends

Friday Fun!

I'm all over the place this week!

Isn't this tree in progress lovely? This belongs to Kathy. I'll be pulling fabric for my February blocks soon.

Here is a lovely quilt and fun setting for Jannie's Tree of Life! I love it!

This came from my friend Linda who moved and was cleaning out "unwanteds" from her sewing space. I'm finally going to get it quilted! I have it folded so you only see 1/4 of it, but it is a beauty!

I've been photographing quilt tops for my ETSY shop. I spy Elsa!

Here is a beauty I will have in my ETSY store soon. Feel free to email me at Humblequilts@gmail.com if interested.

Like so many older quilts they are not perfect! I LOVE how they made this work!!

I'm heading to a quilt retreat today! I'm looking forward to lots of sewing time and catching up with friends.  Have a terrific weekend.

Joyful Friday!

Today's post, June 2, 2023 are the things that bring me JOY this week!

A little quilt remake by Mary R! Darling as ever!

Fresh eggs from my neighbor. They are so pretty!

I've seen some very small lizards around my house but none this long for several years! Look at that tail! At first I only saw the tail and thought it was a pack rat. I was thrilled it was Mr Lizard.

Cara Cara oranges. I have to get these at my Trader Joes 1 hour away! Should have bought 2 bags!

Flowers at my front door.

Wildflowers on a hike.

Central Oregon mountains.

Two little blackbirds sitting on a stone......

Making plans for Peru!

Thank you for all your sweet comments on the newest basket quilt!

Have a wonderful weekend!
