After the little doll quilt swap this spring, Wendy, The Constant Quilter, sent me a cute little kit to make this quilt, similar to the one she made her swap partner.
It's a humble little quilt, but I love it!
What a great center!! Thank you Wendy!
Adorable! I really love that little center block. With a quilt this size, many large scale prints could give a good block for a little medallion. You got me thinking now..... :)
ReplyDeleteVery thoughtful of Wendy!
ReplyDeleteSimple is always so appealing to me. This is very sweet--reminds me of the AAQI quilt that was a joint effort between you and Kathie Holland that now hangs on my sewing room wall. In fact, it gives me an idea for a fabric I just brought home from my trip. : )
It's so sweet! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, yes......beautiful fabrics. Adorable quilt!!! You and Wendy rock!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's just beautiful! It's fun to work on a little project to relieve the stresses of the day. I hope this gave you a bit of joy while dealing with the not so pleasant things of late. Thank you for sharing it with us. I HOPE to be sending some dresses to you by the end of the week. This summer has flown by!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing all the different fabrics! We are very lucky to have access to so many. Love the center piece.
ReplyDeleteKids are good for giving us a hard time. Mine complain that I have to be heading to a quilt show if I plan a trip anywhere. Cute little quilt. Glad she shared the Kit!
ReplyDeleteMe gusta,muy bonito.
ReplyDeleteIt's a very cute little quilt ! Bravo !!
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful quilt and, yes, very humble!
ReplyDeleteCamping?? Sounds amazing!! if you had a treadle machine, you could've thrown it into the back and sewn away!!! VBG
ReplyDeleteLove the little doll quilt! Are the squares as tiny as they look??
Very sweet and scrappy! Why is it that they can takes endless pictures of their new coffee drink, but we get teased about taking pictures of our quilts? lol
ReplyDeleteI have some of the fabric used for the center. I like looking at all the little squares and wondering how many of those fabrics I have. Always interesting to see different reproduction fabrics.
ReplyDeleteEs un edredón maravilloso!!!

buena semana
Small but cute!!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable little quilt, Lori! Scrappy and simple - perfect!
ReplyDeleteAdorable.
ReplyDeleteLove it! That eagle center is great. Is the eagle printed on it? I have a scrap quilt waiting for me to come up with an eagle for its center but I am stuck.
ReplyDeleteI love your little quilt! It's precious. Hugs,
ReplyDeleteThe last few days have been sorting sorting and rearranging in the sewing room. I dove into my "nickle/5 inch charm" box to prepare for a leader ender project from NIckle Quilts book and then some fabrics have been moved from here to there and finally some sewing on a small wall quilt for a Quilter's Night Out workshop I am teaching for my local bee. Shew!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the middle fabric? Would love to try to find some.
