Here's our next 2 blocks of the ABC Sampler of Cheri's. Every time I get ready to share our blocks and write a blog post I think of the song, ABC, 123 by the Jackson 5. This video is only 1 minute and if you haven't seen the Jackson 5 in many years it's worth a look! LOL
N-O-P in one ingenious block!
I'm not thrilled with Santa's face as I resorted to machine applique on the smaller pieces.
Have a wonderful week!
Just LOVE Cheri's ABC pattern........which I have, and am saving it for next year, or when the several BOM's I'm participating in are over! Hope to just work on ABC and Common Threads after that, if I can resist all the wonderrull BOM's and Sew-a-longs!!!!! So much quilting, so little time.........

I agree about the pumpkin block. I never would have thought to include three letters of the alphabet in one block in the manner Cheri did. I enjoyed watching the Jackson Five singing the ABC, 123".
ReplyDeleteI love all things Motown--will be singing this all day!
ReplyDeleteIt is looking good, your blocks are so cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a blast from the past. Hard to believe Michael was ever that young boy.
ReplyDeleteThe pumpkin block makes me smile. Very clever!
Lori que bonitos bloques !!

He absolutely WILL be just fine! Jolly fellow, if I must say so myself!
ReplyDeleteAlways super cute. I can tell you and Karen are having fun.
ReplyDeleteThere's something about pumpkins that I love so you have a winner with your block of them. Santa is cute too.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! The NOP bock is so creative. It would make a cute Fall mini quilt even. Santa is odd, but so sweet. Wonderful project.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is more adorable with each new post....I'd be hard-pressed to pick a favorite block...(but I think it's the rooster...lol). Very nice---glad you're having so much fun. Thank you for the video---that's how I prefer to remember Michael Jackson---with all the talent but without the plastic surgeries---just a sweet, talented little boy. Blessings, Lori....
ReplyDeleteI Loved the Jackson 5 and Soul Train :)
ReplyDeleteIt's looking very cute--Santa looks like he just realized there are only 9 months until Christmas!
ReplyDeleteFun to see how it is all fitting together. Keep being creative!
ReplyDeleteGotta love those plaids and stripes. Thanks for showing it all so far.
ReplyDeletehahaha Santa looks annoyed! Maybe he doesn't like your choice of music? Now I'm going to have that song stuck in my head!! :)
