Look what I finished in Ohio!
I love that this sampler is so individualized it won't look like anyone else's. Thanks Karen for working alongside me to get this cute quilt done. Thanks Cheri for the fun pattern! See Karen's quilt top HERE.
Look what we find in an antique store in Chardon, Ohio! We found a few goodies to take home.
Here is my Instagram feed for the week! It's been a fun time in Ohio with my friend Kat.
I'm home now- time to recover!
Wonderful finish and absolutely charming!
ReplyDeleteI see that you changed your top row to eliminate those pesky angel blocks. Cheri has used that style angel in more than one pattern.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed sewing together even though we were separated by a few thousand miles while doing it. What's next!
Beautiful finish--love how your eye travels around all those blocks to see what is happening in them!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Julierose

ReplyDeleteSo were those goodies what you found or what you took home? ;-)
Your quilt top looks wonderful! So many fabric choice decisions as you go! That would drive me crazy. Regarding those tubs of pre-cuts, is that what you brought home? I'm jealous!

ReplyDeleteCngratulations for this wonderful finish ! Every block is beautiful. ...
ReplyDeleteSuch a great finish! I love that you both were able to put a piece of yourself into the quilts. They are the same but they are so different. It has been fun following along with your progress. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteLove the quilt, it's going to be one to treasure. And I must ask, are the fabric bins what you found, or what you brought home? LOL
ReplyDeleteOh how fun to stumble across some bits of fabric while antiquing! I hope you picked up some special pieces. Love seeing your fun quilt top. So many different blocks and details. I bet it feels good to have that one as a complete quilt top!
