You know what I get for showing you my bulbs coming up last week? SNOW! Joke's on me!
Well, as long as I'm confused about the seasons I'll show you a quilt I got back from Sharon Tucker, machine quilter extraordinaire! Well, I didn't actually ask her for any fancy quilting on this one, but just a simple all over design.
Afterall, it is a primitive quilt. At first glance it looks like meandering, but it really is a design.
I may try and get a label and binding made this week, but likely won't get more completed until I return from Colombia. Thank you Sharon!
Make it a fantastic week!
Your quilt is lovely and the quilting is as well. A "home run" for sure!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLoving this!!!! I still have the last 2 blocks to make.........boo hiss! I think the quilting on yours is perfect.......Great job all around!

What a beautiful quilt. I laughed last week when we had some sun and people kept talking about spring. No snow but really cold temps.
ReplyDeleteAll over quilting on this one is good. I need to get a top or two to the local shop for all over quilting. I wish they did custom.
ReplyDeletePerfect quilting for a fun quilt. Love it! ♥
ReplyDeleteTurned out gorgeous! Safe travels.
ReplyDeleteThat turned out wonderful Lori. Gives me some quilting inspiration for those allover quilting designs. Is the quilt a Jan Patek design? Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour Fall Festival looks great! Love the all over quilting -- how funny, I just got mine back last week too from my long arm quilter. I followed your lead with an all over design and am really happy with how it turned out. This was a fun project - now on to the binding....
ReplyDeleteLooks like a little ribbon pattern over the quilt. Looks great!
ReplyDeleteHow soon do you leave? Very excited for you!!
I love it! Perfect...just right.
ReplyDeleteYou did a beautiful job on the appliquƩ and the quilting really came out beautifully with the design.

ReplyDeleteGreat quilt Lori!
ReplyDeleteHope your flower bulbs aren't damaged with the snow.
Sew charming! Great job!
