Here is my finished friendship double 4 patch made with swapped blocks by Kevin and Kathy. It was quilted by Kathy.
This was taken inside after it was washed. I love what she did in the cheddar border!!
I LOVE how it turned out and it is a special friendship quilt.
I ran into some visitors out on a hike the other day.
I hope you had a terrific weekend. Love to you all!
That is just perfect! I love it!

ReplyDeleteGood to see that your walk visitors and you were observing the 6+ feet distancing rule! LOL! Your quilt looks so inviting - Just want to curl up in it and read a good book! HUGS... and stitches
ReplyDeleteIt is a marvelous quilt....that took some patience, though for you most likely anticipation!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful quilt. I love the very authentic way you did the cheddar border on the top and bottom, running it all the way across. It must be so special to make a project like this with friends.
ReplyDeleteCute visitors, are they friendly? Lost?

I like how the brighter blue pieces pop. And of course, the darker pieces making the "trail". A good scrappy quilt. Was everyone utilizing their pieces to make the same quilt?
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful quilt and so is the scenery.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Wonderful how the planning of color and value make the pattern emerge.
ReplyDeletegreat friend finished quilt, beautiful and special..... glad you are practicing social distance on your hikes and the others are too!....getting ready to get back to sewing....too many starts, too little finishes.... too many interruptions, checking in on kids and friends, cooking, still digging in deep house cleaning....and now and then some beautiful sun ....and then there is the yard work!...sigh!....but glad we are on this side of this virus and not the other side....
ReplyDeleteWe are Blessed!...hope all is well in your neck of the woods...stay safe! and thanks for all your sharing!.....leaving now to go stitch...big hugs from NJ
