More Buhl and Fauna

My lighting isn't so good as the sun goes down, but I did manage to make my bud centers acceptable to me. I figure once it is quilted and washed they will not need to be perfect.
Two sections done! It is likely getting bloggy boring, but feels so good to be making progress!
I got a package of goodies in from Superior. Too bad it wasn't more exciting then sewing machine needles!!

You will have to look close, but this was my first sighting of fawns this past week! When we see them we know to keep a closer eye on the doggies. Mommas get very protective and will charge. Thankfully Porter only barks from the porch. He is smart.
I went hiking early Saturday morning and saw this heron on the water.

You have to look close to see this little desert creature.
And then there's these two!! LOL

Make it a great week!

  3. I meant to say before how well you wear a face shield and safe too. You have a pretty smile.
Meanwhile, thanks for reminding me that when a quilt is finished, washed and put into use, the imperfections are not noticable. However, I see only perfection in everything you stitch.

  10. I enjoy seeing your dogs. They look cozy and happy. I can almost hear that "sigh" a big dog will make when first laying down. I love seeing the progress on your quilt. It's so pretty. So graphic!

  11. My dog will lay on the hard floor instead of his soft bed in the summertime also. Certainly the tile is cooler than his bed.

  12. I love seeing your ongoing projects' progress, not bored at all! And the scenery from your hikes is like a cool breeze. Poor doggies in their dense fur coats!

  13. Even a little progress on quilt making is good! Never boring! I love it when deer look at you and their "rabbit ears" antenna are out, listening... checking to see if you are safe or not. any clue what kind of lizard you found?
