When Laurie and I were on our New England trip we purchased a little Mill fabric for a challenge. I've been working on mine. I'm not quite ready to show it yet.
And when I'm not sewing, hiking or working, I'm learning~! There are so many free online classes through REI and other outdoorsy businesses.
I'll be visiting Beach Quilters Quilt Guild in Southern CA next month. I love seeing the class promotion. I'll be teaching this little quilt, zig zag setting and half blocks!
I'm visiting Petaluma, CA quilt guild next week via Zoom. If you are in the area they are also holding a meeting in person.
I am going to make a decision about a beginner's class on Monday. Please send an email if you are interested and have not contacted me.
I'll draw a name for the basket mugrug on Monday too.

And here is the backing. Because we have owned a parts store for years when I saw the spark plug fabric I knew I needed some!
I attended a beautiful Memorial day service at our local cemetery. These warriors still tear up talking about their buddies. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteThat Zig Zag sashing is tricky. I might need a lesson on that. Fun Sparkplug fabric. Sign me up for the Basket.
ReplyDeleteI really like those Mill Girls fabrics.
ReplyDeleteThe spark plug fabric is too fun. What a hoot!
How nice to have a Memorial Day service to attend at a cemetery. We visit graves at 3 or 4 cemeteries in our valley on Memorial Day, but I am not aware of any services at any of them.
