This post is all over the place!
I did a Youtube video on the dresses- I have 148 of them! Whoop! Whoop! I may not bring them all on this trip as Peru is on the schedule and will bring some there. Thank you all so much for your generosity!
Thank you for purchasing books! I have more and will keep the link on my blog sidebar. Check them out HERE if you missed it the first time.
Someone mentioned local people in need. I do see that and am currently volunteering for a non profit in my town. I feel like with inflation people will be needing even more help in the coming months. Maybe you aren't affected by it, but we sure see it in my small town. Thankfully there are some great resources available. I recently told my BIL and son to not donate men's clothes to the thrift store but to give them to me!
I am registered to make a quick trip to Houston for the show! Let me know if you will be there! I may extend my trip by one day so I can see more people.
Last weekend we got away to Mt Hood. Our plans changed a little, but we like to be flexible.
This was our view from the first night. This is Burnt Lake with Mt Hood in the background. The alpenglow was picture perfect!
I have this beautiful quilt that is in 2 halves because the center had been folded too long.
Isn't is spectacular?!
So much to love about this quilt.
This is about the only fall decorating I've done. maybe this weekend I'll do more. I'm trying to extend summer as much as I can. The weather sure is fall-like.
Have an amazing weekend friends!
What a beautiful photo of Alpenglow! The quilt in halves is really spectacular. It would be interesting to see the 2 halves together.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear you have had such good response with "pillowcase dresses". I have fabric to make more, but will hold off for now.

Gorgeous shot of the lake with Mt. Hood!
That looks like a great quilt--such beautiful quilting. It is sad that it it fell apart at the fold. Do you have plans for it?
Love the Sunset Photo. Glad you could save the quilt by cutting it in half. Happy Weekend. I

ReplyDeleteJust love the Alpenglow!! And I had to laugh at your book pile because I just bought the Monterrey Medallions book last month and got the fabric for it in the mail today!! It's too bad that quilt came apart; it looks pretty.
