I've got the 3 angels appliqued now. It's a good thing this is primitive!
If you missed my first post this is called Lone Cabin from Red Wagon Originals. I know several of you found it in your collection or purchased a used copy on Amazon. If you make blocks I'd love to share them here with mine. Please send photos to humblequilts@gmail.com
I hope you are having a great week!
What sweet angels--I 've been leafing through this book and the projects are very inspiring...
ReplyDeletenice wip...hugs, Julierose
What a fun primitive quilt, I'll have to go look and see if I have that pattern, I know I have a Red Wagon book downstairs somewhere.
ReplyDeleteword association: Just Call Me Angel in the Morning... Love what you're making.
ReplyDeleteDelightfully prim Lori 🤎🩶
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your quilt. You are doing a nice job. I wish I could join in with you, but my plate is already full. I will enjoy watching yours grow to completion.
ReplyDeleteOh and P.S.-- where do you get your homespun background plaids--I don't have any like those...
ReplyDeletethanks Julierose;)0)
Those blocks look great!
ReplyDeleteYour angels are perfectly prim. I look forward to seeing more of the blocks for this project.
ReplyDeleteSo disappointed, cannot find the book unless I want to spend 27.95. I have checked every used bookstore on the planet lol
ReplyDeleteYour angels are adorable and I love your prim cabin too! I haven't done much applique lately because I am somewhat of a perfectionist and it stresses me out if I can't get it to look just right. I love to see primitives that others are doing though - go figure.
ReplyDeleteI love these vintage prim quilts, this book is a favorite tho I ve never made anything. I's have to sub the Stars, since my current project has so many so similar. Maybe pineapples motif....
