Fun on a Friday

I got the top of Liberty Eagle completed! This is a Jan Patek patten that I've tweaked a little. I hope top get it basted and quilted soon!

I had one of these little quilts and at a guild trunk show, Patriotic Quilts,  brought it for table decor. A women, (not a quilter)  who brought her mother to the guild meeting asked if she could buy it! So I had to make another! The center flags I removed from a stick so there is no seam allowance. Years ago I used to have some fabric that had little flags on it. Does anyone have any of that with flags about 4"x6"? I'd love to purchase or trade. Email me at humblequilts@gmail.com

I tested my knees this week- they feel pretty good!

Mt Hood

Mt St Helens
We got a clear view of the mountains on a short trip to Seattle. Love this upper view!!

The wildflowers in my front are about ready to explode! Yay! Welcome summer!
