VA Quilt Museum and A Garden of Hope Exhibit

The Virginia Quilt Museum will have a special exhibit of Buhl Bushong quilts  from September 21-December 23. It is called
"A Garden of Hope"
I found out this week my quilt was accepted to be included!

I'd love to be able to attend the reception but I have a prior commitment. Hopefully I'll be able to go at some point while the quilts are hanging.

My quilt is entirely machine appliqued.

Sharon Tucker did an amazing job on the quilting!

I have to get busy and add a hanging sleeve!

I hope you are having a great week!

  11. Your quilt is awesome! So exciting for you to have a quilt in the show! IF I travel to Virginia this fall to see my son, I will make sure to have him take me to the museum to see the quilts! He did take me there the last time I visited.
