Welcome! Velkommen! Willkommen! Bienvenida! Bienvenue!

However you say welcome where you live my Welcome quilt is complete!

Diane of Butterfly Quilting Threads worked her magic and transformed my top! I love the fans!

Now it is hanging in my entryway.

Super thrilled with it!

I had an amazing weekend away at a women's retreat. It was peaceful and restorative.
The setting was incredible.
Mt Adams

The property is an old school on the White Salmon River in Trout Lake, WA.

The cloud formation was so cool! I think it is a lenticular cloud.

Seen on my morning walk!

This too!

I'm ready to tackle the week!

Happy May Day!

You Must Prove Yourself Brave, Truthful and Unselfish~The Blue Fairy

I've got a bit of a collection of Pinocchio, the first being an old wooden marionette of my moms.

Back in 1995 our library had a call for little wallhangings of  books to decorate the children's reading area. Of course I turned to my favorite character.
Our library is undergoing a bit of an update and they called me asking if I'd like my quilt back. Well, sure, why not?
Considering I took my first quilt class in 1993, I'm pretty impressed with my skills only 2 years into quilting!!
Good advice by the Blue Fairy.

My sister, brother in law and 3 yo grandson were visiting this weekend and my sis and I scooted out for a short hike to get a good view of the sunset.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend- I cannot believe it is March already! I'm looking forward to changing the clocks next weekend!

Whoopee Wednesday!

We made it to Idaho just in time! I got back last evening and today it is snowing again!

Here's my niece's little boy (my grand-nephew) Zackary on the quilt I gave to them.
He is 3 weeks old and doing well.
We took my niece out for dinner. They've had a lot of snow too, so I understand being housebound.
My daughter made the trip with me.

Because I was meeting my daughter, I went a different way- right by Pendleton Woolen Mills
with a long and wonderful Oregon history.
This little lamb was at my sisters. They actually had 20 babies! at least 3 of them were being bottle fed.
Isn't this cute? I made this and gave it to my sister many years ago. Sure makes me wish for spring.
I also made this many years ago and it was hanging in her house too.
I love seeing her enjoy things I've made.

Have a whoopee Wednesday!
Next Monday we will posting our 1st part of the Fall Festival.

A Little Quilting

Here's a small fall quilt that I hand quilted recently. I got the binding sewn on yesterday.
Here's the fun backing, although I'm not sure what it is! hahaha

Ta-da! Binding all sewn down. Simple, fun, rewarding.

Here is the back to another table topper that I've made recently. It's killing me, but I cannot show it yet. I'm working on the binding on this one too.

Be sure to send me photos of your flag blocks if you do not have a blog. We will post Friday morning.

If you haven't yet, sign up for the book giveaway HERE. I'll draw a name the beginning of November.

Happy Monday!
